Terms of Service

Effective date: February 6, 2026

1. Acceptance

By using Nine, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, don't use the app. We may update these terms — continued use after changes means you accept them.

2. What Nine Is

Nine is a photo-sharing app for small groups of friends. You can share one photo at a time with up to 9 friends through a home screen widget and in-app grid.

3. Your Account

  • You sign in with your Apple ID. You are responsible for your account.
  • You must be at least 13 years old to use Nine.
  • You can delete your account at any time from Settings. This permanently removes all your data.

4. Your Content

  • You own the photos you share. We don't claim ownership of your content.
  • By sharing a photo, you grant us a license to store, process, and display it to your friends within Nine. This license ends when you delete the photo or your account.
  • You are responsible for the content you share. Do not share photos that are illegal, harmful, or that you don't have the right to share.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Share illegal, abusive, or harmful content
  • Harass or harm other users
  • Attempt to access other users' data or accounts
  • Reverse engineer, exploit, or interfere with the app or its infrastructure
  • Use Nine for commercial purposes or spam

6. Friends and Invites

  • Your widget displays up to 9 friends at a time. You can have more friends and choose who appears in your grid.
  • Friend connections are mutual — both users can see each other's photos.
  • You can remove a friend at any time. This removes the connection for both users.
  • Invite links expire after 7 days and can only be used once.

7. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these terms. You can stop using Nine and delete your account at any time.

8. Disclaimers

Nine is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We don't guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that your content will always be available. We are not responsible for content shared by other users.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of Nine.
